The general public and the media too seem to think that the Royal British Legion is the organisation in Scotland as they seem to forget that they should record in their articles " ROYAL BRITISH LEGION SCOTLAND " .

I saw a recent story in the Scottish press about the Royal British Legion remembering the casualties in Scapa but the press failed to record it as " ROYAL BRITISH LEGION SCOTLAND ".

You mentioned George,s medals,do you know if they were sent to his NOK? have you requested his service record? That should tell you if his medals were sent out and to who received them.Do not be fobbed off, if the next of kin did not receive them.
The form used for service records is MOD FORM 1694-APRIL 07
